Sustainability
The real estate developments of Etoile are carried out in conformity with sustainable criteria and, as a practice, the company adopts - in its projects - the LEED Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design), an international system with a focus on the sustainability.
Before, during, and after the works of construction, all of the real estate developments are supervised for the purposes of delivering a building which poses the least impact possible on the environment and which contributes for the quality of life of theirs employees.

Promotes the energy efficiency in the constructions by means of simple and innovating strategies such as - for instance - energy simulations, measurements, commissioning of systems, and the use of efficient pieces of equipment and systems.

Fosters the use of materials with a low environmental impact, and reduces the generation of residue – apart from promoting the environmentally conscious disposal, by deviating the volume of residue generated from the landfills.

Promotes the internal environmental quality of the air, which is essential for environments with a high permanence of people, with a focus on the choosing of materials with a low rate of emission of volatile organic compounds.

Innovation and Processes
Provides incentive for the quest of knowledge on Green Buildings, as well as the creation of design measures which are not described in the categories of the LEED. Points of exemplary performance are enabled for this category.

Credits of Regional Priority
Encourages those credits defined as a regional priority to each country, in accordance with the environmental, social, and economic differences which exist in each locality. Four points are available to this category.
